Dr. Julian Robert Daniel Moiseiwitsch, B.D.S., Ph.D.
For more than two decades, Dr. Moiseiwitsch (“Dr. M”) has been a trusted endodontist in Washington, D.C., consistently recognized among Washington’s Best Dentists—including “Top of the Top” honors.
After years in Northwest D.C., Dr. M and his wife opened Capitol Hill Endodontics on Pennsylvania Avenue SE, bringing advanced care to the Hill. He treats patients of all ages, from toddlers to great-grandparents. His philosophy is simple: whenever possible, teeth should be saved.
Known for his gentle approach, Dr. M offers a full range of sedation options, but many patients will tell you his real secret is storytelling and humor—often enough to make people fall asleep in the chair!

- Ph.D. in Craniofacial Development, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Former UNC and UCSF faculty member
- Adjunct Associate Professor, University of Maryland School of Dentistry
- On staff, Children’s National Medical Center, where he developed the pediatric endodontics curriculum
Beyond Dentistry
Dr. M lives in D.C. with his wife, Françoise. Their daughter Nina is in Medical school, in her final year at UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him helping at their family-owned vineyard in Virginia’s Hebron Valley.
